At El Gato Grande we prepare Mexico’s most beloved dish using authentic Mexican recipes and techniques. Esteemed island chef Spring Sheldon calls Oaxaca, Mexico her second home, spending half the year researching, testing and honing her taco skills. Chef Spring brings her extensive knowledge of Mexican cuisine and culture to El Gato Grande, serving up the centuries old techniques and methods that make a most delicious taco. She believes firmly in the power of food prepared with love, and the unification of community through sharing a meal. A staunch supporter of local farmers and fisherfolk, Chef Spring brings you the best of the island bounty all brought together in the humble taco.
